If you want a good radar, get RadarScope. To me it's worth the money vs the useless Weather Channel radar

I use MyRadar.

I tried weatherbug but kept going back to WxUnderground for some reason so I'm curious to see more suggestions.

For a radar app I agree with htown about RadarScope. Yuge fan; but it's radar only and not a comprehensive weather app.

My radar pro. Gives alerts which is helpful when I'm traveling.

I use RadarScope and pay for the first tier of service on it. I like the weather products it offers especially relative velocity and derived products like hydrometeor classification. For weather itself I just use pinpoint forecasts from NWS. I also have Wunderground and Weatherbug for quick glances as stuff as they are often both different.

I use a local news stations weather app for forecasts. Much more accurate than the big nation wide forecast apps.

Weatherunderground has been pretty good about forecasting and updating for me.

Windy is the bomb for fishing, specifically fly fishing, on the coast. Love it. Also, great at forecasting seas to pick those days suitable for chasing the fish that shall not be named near the surf.

I have been using Storm Radar: Weather Tracker free version for years. All the alerts, 10-day forecast, hourly forecast, and accurate radar. It shows a graph of the sun related to time as well.

Windy app is very accurate for wind forecast

Ambient Weather to see what's happening in my backyard when I'm not around.

Wtforecast is entertaining

SailFlow for wind forecast. Has been pretty reliable in spring when planning application of herbicides on pastures around sustained wind and gusts.

Try carrot weather app. Set it to profanity, overkill, and alt right. Not sure how it does on weather but it can sure hurt your feelings.

My Radar Pro and Space City Weather. SCW is great and Houston based, most accurate in my experience than most others

I used to use one called PYKL3 until they shut down. I use wX nowadays.

There are 2 Windy apps, which Ione are you talking about? I like the one with the app that has the blue background and radar scan looking image over the blue background. Gives me a ton of information quickly when picking fly fishing days on the middle coast. They took the cloud cover/type of clouds (high, mid,low) out of the free version recently, which is a major bummer, now it's just generic cloud icon info.

The other Windy app is the one w the red background with the two swoosh looking things in white. Which one are you talking about?

Yes, the one with the blue background/radar looking overlay. Hey, I didn't name the fish, but you knew I was talking about mullet right, ya, that's it... mullet.

I see I'm a Pro user, I don't recall that - I must have REALLY wanted to know something that day. This is how I keep it configured. Out of view is the tide and cloud cover. I love how the arrows swing as you scroll across to the timeline to get a quick glace of what to expect.

There was a window when this app was off the app store. I tried the other one once thinking it was this app, and it's not; I was disappoint. This one is the beans.

Yeah, from your screenshot, the cloud icon below the ambient temperature is awesome. Sometimes shows high clouds, sometimes low, it's surprisingly accurate - and moved to the PRO version. I've been hesitant to upgrade to PRO but use it all the time so I probably should bite the bullet.

Surf mullet are the unspoken secret, let's keep it that way lol!
