I visit my clients in San Antonio frequently during the fall. Friday lunch gets me in the stand for Friday afternoon.
I tried to schedule a lunch with them but they are only available for a call, so technically I am meeting with them.

Busy night last night. Shot the buck I was after. He had 4 broken tines. Lots of character. Then a spike walking to the truck.

Yesterday was cool
Saw this buck with his does 900 yds and 800 feet up due to his rack being perfectly skylined against the morning sky, snuck into the timber after him, and shot him as he got up from his bed from about 40 yds. I noticed what I thought were lion tracks as I was trailing the deer, and sure enough, there were hounds baying on a trail running through the woods about 100 yds away as I was quartering the buck.

Really wanted to hunt our family place this morning but needed the sleep in a bad way.
The f150 had no trouble pulling it a mile or so to the bone yard.
Been 10 years since my last one with a bow, but finally got one tonight in Kimble county

Super windy in Bosque county.
Same son that dropped the pig yesterday shot under a doe about 20 mins ago.

Got the boys out in Frio County for the weekend. Saw a couple nice young ones that I decided to give another year. Youngest set a PR for biggest bass he's pulled in. Great weekend!
