heading out Thursday. my game cams in Bracketville are showing next to no acitvity. Our lease has fallen off a cliff.

hoping the cold front gets the deer moving and I see something that hasnt been showing up.

man its been the last few years for sure. steadily in decline.

we used to look like a petting zoo when feeders would go off. 3-4 young 8s at every hunt.

now its rare I see an 8 point. and there are sits that I will see nothing. Something definitely happened but I dont know what.

Sounds exactly like us. I think it's our area, even though I'm up towards concan. Garner state park has had 2 worst deer counts last 2 year and presume this year will be another bad one. Happy to take this off line to discuss as I needed to vent quite a bit before meeting with biologist.
