I'd like to chime in here and someone who operates a thermal drone for hog eradication.

It is HIGHLY unlikely that someone's using a drone for poaching. Thermal drones are ridiculously expensive and the flight data is saved on both the drone and controller and I believe DJI has it as well. You'd be leaving a digital bread crumb trail of everywhere you've broken the law

We use the drone to locate pigs to eradicate on properties that we have permission to be on. Yes the drone will fly over your property at an altitude of 400 feet. But no, you're not being spied on. It's public air space.
