Hornbacks. So many games of 42 played there without 1000 people bumping into the table. And back in the day there were some cuties that worked there.

Denim & Diamonds opened my Fish summer. Older brother and his friends were Jr/Sr's, so not only did I have a ride, I had pretty easy access to drink. Then they open with "Any Coin, Any Drink"...every night of the week. Then once they started getting some business, they started scaling it back to certain drinks, nights/hours, etc. Those were good times.

After that, Hornback's when we didnt want to mess with a big crowd while playing 42. That was fun most nights, except the one where a customer played Achy Breaky Heart about 20 times. I think they finally unplugged the jukebox.

Of course, we were at the Chicken a lot, especially when I lived in Walton. Was nice to be able to stumble home and yell "F U Schumacher!"....
"Cal (9-3) vs. Texas A&M (9-3). On the list of rare sights in Southern California, a team running the option -- as the Aggies like to do with QB Stephen McGee -- ranks right up there with real breasts and 12 inches of snow." Stewart Mandel CNNSI

I worked at Harry's for 3 years (2000-2003), so I am a little partial to it. Incredible concerts back then with the Texas country music scene really kicking off........Roger Creager, Kevin Fowler, CCR, Pat Green, Jason Boland, Cory Morrow, etc. That being said, when Shadow Canyon was around, it was primo and the best night was Wednesdays, when I didn't have to work. And Salty Dog was pretty good too.

Juan did a great job of having all the garnishes cut before we got there and the beer tub always full during the rush.

So when they were tearing the dirty sock down, rubble was falling and this cloud poofed up in the air. There were about 10 or so guys watching and I said that was baby powder not dirt. We were rolling!!!

Grahams on Thursday
Chicken on Friday
Hall on Saturday

I'd sprinkle in Ptar, Dudley's or the Edge when necessary. Maybe even Sneakers.

HOF - Thursdays - Quarter pitcher night
Dixie Chicken Fridays - $2.50 pitchers - worked there for awhile.
D&D Saturdays - Any coin drinks.

Flying Tomato for beer and pizzas.

Senior year - 1994 - kegs were < $35. We would just buy a keg and drink on that all weekend. Rotated from house to house on who bought.
