My brother in law lived out of his Prius for over a year and didn't even have to add anything to it like this clown. I think he's got a YouTube channel documenting it all as well.

Yeah, I won't even bother trying to explain it. Had an Anytime Fitness membership so showered there. Went cross country at least twice in it. Mostly was living out of it while in Silicon Valley doing God knows what. Threw a small We Work sticker on the back of the car and would park at their HQ most of the time there and never got bothered.

His setup was actually pretty slick.

I love my wife's brother. Incredibly smart guy who just marches to the beat of his own drum. Saw and explored a lot of cool stuff while doing this. When I saw the setup the first time I was pretty impressed in what he had put into it. We went on our annual trip to Table Rock Lake and even though we had a cabin with enough beds he spent every night in the car.

Saw one the other day on youtube or somewhere where thy guy had a old cabover Izuzu box-truck converted to a stealth camper.

Sounds like it's his happy place.

A van, even a small one like a Ford Transit Connect seems like a MUCH better option. The height, or lack thereof, would get old fast in a car. Otherwise i dig the simplicity.

It's crazy how many brilliant people are living out of cars in Silicon Valley.
