Outdoor Fly Problem

We have swarms of outdoor flies. They are in on our front and backyard and are incredibly frustrating to deal with. I have asked several homeowners in our neighborhood if they also deal with abnormal amounts of household flies and they all say it's a thing. Ugh. I have tried fly traps and Demon Spray. I have watched a few YouTube videos on how some ag folks have dealt with them, but am not super convinced.

Is there anything y'all could recommend? Spray? Bait buckets? Sticky ribbons? Definitely would appreciate any help/knowledge. Seems like a simple fix I just cannot figure out.

They're bad here this year also. Left a door cracked for a few hours a couple weeks ago and 5 or so got in. Didn't worry about it, figured they'd die.

They laid eggs, and I spent days swatting flies off of the windows on my French doors. Killed 40+/ day for 3 days.

It was a nightmare

I recently tried the bait trap bags you add water to. The good news is I trapped thousands. The bad news is that it attracted 10x what it trapped and due to natural selection the smarter ones live on.

Never had a problem around my house. A few show up when I grill. As a preventative I put out the fly trap bags that you add water to a couple times a year. I always put it out as far from the house as possible. It fills up every time. Not sure how effective it really is because they aren't as bad as what the OP is talking about.

We have been inundated by them this spring so I allowed my wife to persuade me that putting Irish Spring soap in a ziploc bag, punching holes in it, and hanging it outside. It's been 4 days and I haven't seen a fly yet.

Try these, we eat on the back porch frequently and put these on the table and it keeps the flys away. Something about the holographic sin the blades.

I have been using a product similar to these. https://www.amazon.com/RESCUE-FTR-Reusable-Fly-Trap/dp/B07NLL718P/ref=asc_df_B07NLL718P/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=642214258202&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1474304962954870218&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9027622&hvtargid=pla-1930815683443&psc=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwhJukBhBPEiwAniIcNcH98QqSnucsHT009Hy74OmE--Sit8etMWN15H8RWSRpLY7CfpMaHhoC79kQAvD_BwE

They stink so bad I thought a critter died in the rafters of my shop...

PT Alpine fly bait.

Spray it on your outdoor non-porous surfaces. I do our windows, trash and recycling, exterior door frames.

I have two. I would need an electric Gatling gun version shooting 2000 rounds per minute to kill the flys we have right now.

At one point we had so many in a window we grabbed the vacuum cleaner.

Sounds almost biblical. Not enough salt in the store.

Bugasalt needs to come out with an app controlled flak cannon version.

Lol that was me at the end of last month. Killed 150 something flies in 2 days. Kept a vacuum next to my patio doors for a couple of days

That reminds me, I should clean my windows
