I don't think this is possible. Well, maybe the "upset" part.

Nope

Pretty sure it is an automatic DNA based body response to cutting out meat, a substance we as humans are literally designed to consume from the shape of our incisor teeth to the strength of our jowl muscles to the chemical composition and design of our stomach and intestinal systems, that makes you an absolutely miserable person.

Vegetarian diet decreases the risk of almost all cancers. As someone w a predisposition, I'll cut my cancer risks wherever possible.

Post sources.

And do you at a minimum supplement B12, creatine, carnosine and/or beta-alanine, D3, DHA, iron, calcium, zinc, and protein?

If you aren't, then you're most likely nutrient deficient in a way that is much more likely to decrease your quality of life than the potential small increase in cancer risk.

Virtually all the data from the last 10 years or so shows that the directives on diet basically from most of the 20th and early 21st century is absolutely terrible for your health.

All the stuff about low-fat, high-carb, lots of grains, etc is terrible for us. Eat the least processed stuff you can get. Meat (not processed stuff), fish, fresh veggies (not grains or starches), real fruit, and real butter.

Growing up my mother was so terrified of fat/cholesterol she pushed margarine over real butter and now all the data shows that real butter is far healthier and not remotely the health risk it was once thought. Especially if you go with high quality, grass-fed butter like Kerry Gold.

There have been numerous studies recently debunking the prior claims about red meat causing cancer and the biggest criticism the folks advocating for the plant-based diets have is "it undermines public trust because we've been telling them red meat is bad for you for years."

This.

The whole "food pyramid" is pretty much garbage and almost nothing about it is correct. It was designed in a time where we thought ultra processing everything was the wave of the future and was so much better for us because the ability to fortify foods was the rage.

This is the time frame where the medical profession encouraged moms to not breast feed and instead go directly to formula. Margarine was better than butter, eggs would kill you and were to be avoided, soft drinks were good and should be consumed, etc, etc, etc.

We know now that all of that was absolutely wrong. Just like the idea that eating only vegetables is somehow healthier and reduces risks for whatever calamity you are trying to reduce risk for is also absolutely wrong. Some people will never be open to the idea that their way of thinking isn't the best out there though. Vegans are among the worst at this.

Here's a very recent paper on the subject. Where's your source?

https://www.fao.org/3/cc3912en/cc3912en.pdf

And since you're obsessed with BMI's of posters, I'm 5'11, 160, and age 42. I did lose about 25 pounds in the last year, but that was by cutting down on my covid sourdough (and then some), and not anything to do with meat

5'9", 165 at age 53. Lost 20 pounds since October 2022 through exercise and diet modification. You know what I haven't removed from that diet - MEAT. I did cut out sugars and carbs, but anyone with half a brain knows that **** will kill you. Animals were put on this earth for a reason: they are tasty and provide essential vitamins and minerals humans need for a healthy diet.
People think I'm an idiot or something, because all I do is cut lawns for a living.

Vegans kill plenty of animals. Properly managed pastureland can be an intact ecosystem, with cattle replacing buffalo. It supports a great deal more wildlife than a crop field.

So, overall, you kill far fewer animals, and a lower mass of them, by eating meat.

I suspect you know this, already, and just are trolling.

I knew one, good, vegan athlete - Ankur…. Not sure about the spelling of his last name. Wahadwa is what is sounded like.

Very strong, 114# man, who was very open about how much more he would lift, if he could eat meat. (He was precluded from doing so for religious reasons.)

Another thing, vegan people don't realize that it is the way our bodies make hormones. Cholesterol is key to hormone production. Where do we get cholesterol??? Meat and eggs.
Too low of cholesterol leads to mental issues. Might explain a lot of things.

It's not a need.

It's a desire.

And we don't need or care about the approval of people that think it's murder.

BMI is also a dumb metric.

I would have to weigh between 130 and 160 lbs to be in the "correct" zone. I haven't weighed 160 lbs since I was in high school over 25 years ago. If I were to get absolutely ripped, I'd still be considered obese by the chart, because BMI doesn't take into account actually having muscle mass, bone structure or density, etc.

Hell, according to the BMI system, Myles Garrett is morbidly obese.

I also find it somewhat ironic that vegans abhor meat......but are all about finding any and every way possible to make beans, dirt and grass look and taste as close to meat as they can.
