DG was still a male dorm in fall of 88. I was a freshman that semester and knew guys who lived in DG. It became a female dorm the fall of 89... I lived in DG that fall.

Everyone knows Bonfire was primarily built by Puryear playboys so this was probably ornamental.
I was in Moses Hall 85-86 and helped cut and stack so just after my time. Moses Hall was the RAB's at that time.
I was good friends with Keith Ebanks '89 and a Moses RAB who was big into bonfire. He was the big brother of Michael Ebanks who died on stack in 99. Tragically, Keith had died in a car accident before his younger brother started A&M. That family lost both sons.

My brother was in DG 84&85 on 4th floor...his roommate was a crew chief in 85 I believe. I would bet you knew one or both of them.tlfw378 said:

I'll bet I remember them. Names have mostly escaped me though...sadly. I don't remember anyone I didn't get along with. Some real Red Asses. I do remember South wing of Second floor were hard core. My older brother was on 2nd.
This Spirit of Aggieland has never been the same since on campus Bonfire fell.
Some of my best memories of my time at A&M were out at stack with my buddies.
Damn I miss it.
Kinda glad it was gone before the internet and SJW's could go after it though.

It's not over yet, with the SJWs. They destroy and cancel the names of people and things long dead and gone, just to tarnish the memory of them. Shame is the game.

I'm not sure what to do with it now. I was sure the Outdoors board would find the rightful owner.

Call the association. Let them write an article about it, see what turns up. They've written all kinds of lost aggie ring stories, this could be a different twist for them. At the least, they can put you in touch with the class agent, maybe they have a class of '90 Facebook group or email list.
