My reading is that is the list of guns explicitly exempt from the ban. I do t support the ban at all, but want to make sure we are accurate in our arguments.
That is just the list of guns they don't want to ban...yet. They want to ban them all. They just know they have to do it incrementally to get you to accept it. Just no. Stop accepting that any of this as "common sense". It is a violation of one of our enumerated rights and we need to stop going along with it.skeetboy3 said:

They evidently have been "vetting" those troops.txags92 said:It won't be enough if they pass this and start trying to confiscate things. No chance those National Guard troops fire a shot to defend a congress that passes this kind of garbage.AgBQ-00 said:
It would outlaw basically all semi auto weapons. This is exactly why they have set up a green zone defensive perimeter around themselves
if the line item veto was taken away from POTUS then there is precedent to do the same to Congress, strike the whole ****ing thing down...and **** the Dems while we're at it.Gunny456 said:
I highly suggest you people read the bill. They have a provision that says if one part of the bill is shut down by SCOTUS the rest of the bill will stay law and that every single point of the bill will individually have to be shut down
No way our current SC will hear all those points.
I believe some justices helped them write the bill.
Folks they are doing their best to disarm us. Better start realizing that.

Except they will exempt illegals from background checks. Illegals are the new liberal voter base since they are steadily losing the black vote.Gunny456 said:
Finally somebody who realizes what their goal is! Thank you.
And get ready for the next part of the plan.,., restrictions on ammo purchases and background checks to purchase ammo.
All you have to do is look at California for the future plans coming soon.
No ammo means useless guns my friends.

Reset the clock on the firearms and ammunition shortage.
There is known to be more than one gun per capita in circulation in the United States right now. The real number is probably closer to 2. Yes, that includes hi-points and old, poorly maintained firearms, but the citizens are armed to the teeth.River Bass said:Quote:
In places like Texas the citizens probably have more guns than law enforcement.
Probably? There are 700,000 law enforcement officers in the ENTIRE United States. Texas alone has probably 9 million gun owners.
Well, this is on page 1 ....98Ag99Grad said:
That bill was from 2017. Is it being brought up again for debate in the Senate now that the House passed the expanded background check bill?

The list of firearms in this bill is a "white list" which means that only things on the list are permissible. This makes it harder to get around the list by introducing new models because anything new is automatically verboten.
Interestingly, under this bill my rem 788 bolt action, rem model 25 pump rifle and J. C. Higgens pump shotgun are illegal as they are nowhere to be found on their list.
When it comes to immigration, "sanctuary" status has to do validating elected officials who choose to actively restrict, even ignore the enforcement of existing sovereignty laws.Central Committee said:

Call Texas a 2nd Amendment sanctuary state.
