I was going for a walk and heard rushing water. Turns out my neighbor has a big leak in their sprinkler system and it was starting to flood their yard.
They aren't home. So I opened up the valve box and shut the water off and left them a note of what I did. I don't have their phone number.
That's the right thing to do right? Is their some weird reason why I shouldn't have done that and now I've messed things up?
Sorry if this is a stupid question. I just feel weird shutting someone's water off with out them knowing it. Wondering if I shouldn't have done that.
