I will post pics as soon as I can and I believe I know the answer, but wanted an expert opinion.
My BIL just texted me pics of a dead whitetail doe and said a Mountain Lion killed it. Entire ass end is missing. Guts looked like they've been moved around, and a random gnawed up leg is detached from body. Blood stains in grass in field indicates doe was drug back and forth like something was playing tug-o-war. Not only that, but doe was left right in the wide open manicured field.
My first instinct was no way that's a lion, and I replied "looks like coyotes." He fired back, nope his Dad went TPWD and spoke with game warden and head biologist. Definitely a lion kill.
Just curious to get y'alls take. On the road. Post pics asap.
