Yeah they took one off in the biopsy.
No pain on the spots and they don't itch really. Don't think I ever ran a fever and never really felt sick.
I think that they are related and it is a reaction to the bite but I guess we'll see with test results.

Holy *****

This thread went from really funny at first with the OP to very concerning with AggieStout.

Hoping and praying the docs figure out what the hell is going on.

Doctor called me this afternoon and said all blood work is fine.
Going to call him back and ask a litany if questions. Doesn't make sense cause I'm not getting any better.

I'd ask for a referral to someone specializing in allergic reactions. Obviously everything isn't simply "fine" even if the blood work tests they've done are normal. Hope you start getting better.

Bachelor party? I think I'd be checking into the Mayo Clinic.
The story isn't that [DeSantis] "couldn't win" the primary. The story is that an overwhelming majority of our population is heinously stupid. 50% of them vote for communists. 75% of the remaining 50% vote for Trump, who cant win. When the majority of the opposition party insists on voting for an opposition candidate who can't win, you get exactly the government you deserve. - Well Endowed Ag

Aggiestout - are you sure that isn't psoriasis. It looks like it and it can be in your body dormant as its an autoimmune disease. Then something like that bite can trigger your autoimmune system to overreact and it comes out. Just a thought.

Now, for even the next creepy thing, TexAgs is giving me pop-up ads for "finding a dermatologist" - never had them before until reading this thread.

Perhaps you should get someone else on the phone with you when you talk to the doctor. Your retelling of events sounds like you and your medical team are not communicating well. Maybe getting a other set of ears involved will help.

Primary doctor called me back and going to run more on the blood tests and prescribed some steroids finally.
Stuff around my ankles today feels like a bad sun burn and has a darker color to it. See what happens with new meds

Glad you're getting on some new meds but at this point in the process I wouldn't still be dicking around with my PCP. Why not see a specialist?

I'm not sure PCP is what he needs to be taking.

That was the first thing I thought when I saw those pics.

But he would be dying due to the itchiness. I've had scabies on my left leg before. Just a few. The itching nearly drove me mad. That is zero hyperbole. (If sleeping in a hotel in Blythe, CA change all the sheets. Or just sleep in your car.)

I have never had something I just couldn't take my mind off of till those little *******s got in my skin and started pooping. That includes broken bones.

Wish you well Stout.

Richline, don't want to freak you out, but just want you to manage your expectations about how well pest control will be able to eliminate your brown recluse problem. We bought a house in Lawton, OK that had been vacant for 18 months, and during that time a mess of BR had set up shop. I found the first one crawling across the family room within feet of my toddler son, and from that point on it was game on. I had pest control come out and spray every 30 days (the only time we have EVER had regular pest control) and we still had the bastages. Granted, they would show up in non-reclusive ways after the spraying every 30 days commenced, but they were still there. I told myself they were sick from the spray since they were appearing in broad daylight in open areas, but I don't know that for sure. What I do know is that once you see one moving, you learn to identify them on the run. I just think it is hard to kill a creature that is up above where the spray is deposited, so they don't get the full effect from the spraying. We never have had a bite from one, but I know it's only a matter of time if you live with the suckers. We sold the house in Lawton two years later and have never lived in an house with an infestation like that, but I still make sure I identify every spider that falls in the similar size and color range of a BR. In the house in Lawton they were prolific in the attic, and I am fairly sure the pest control guy didn't treat up there, so insist on that with your pest control company. Also, if I found one moving about in broad daylight in the open, chances are my neighbor noticed activity in her house on that same day, which I always thought was strange.

Anyway, I do agree with putting out some sticky traps in areas (closets and along baseboards under furniture) and also eliminating clutter in closets, where they like to hide. Sadly, you are never going to have that blissful ignorance about poisonous spiders running amok that you had before your bite, but now you can fight them head on. Good luck!

Arms got worse like the legs. Currently though things are getting better but slowly. Only now real small spots on arms and everything and really gone away from my waist down other than lower legs. Dermatologist was an idiot and zero help. Guy only diagnosed the condition as vasculitis then just said the biopsy confirmed that. He asked for more blood tests and said my organs weren't failing. Also said I didn't have lupus and asked if I started eating any new herbs. Whatever that all means.
Doing research on vasculitis though it says normally an immune component but very likely you'll never know what caused it. Also said medication can cause it. Thinking maybe the bite plus the meds I was on at the time? Maybe.
Seems to be healing up have some blisters forming and some scabs on the larger spots which is a good sign. A lot of the spots are losing their redness and disappearing.
Have some steroid cream that I got so hoping that will help out and if I need to I'll try and get another round of pills in a month or so. Medical professionals are frustrating as it doesn't seem like they care much on why a healthy person would just get this all of a sudden. I guess I should of pushed to go to an allergist.

Got a small spot on arm from the bite
