Gonna try this again....listed it a few months back, had a family member who wanted it but now it's back in my hands.

Interested in selling an RPR in 6.5 Creedmoor. Like new, less than 100 rounds fired. Comes with a Riton RT-S 6-24x50 scope, warne MSR scope mount, Plano hard case, Caldwell bipod, and 60 rounds of ammo.

Looking to get around $1800 obo.

Also willing to trade for an Sig MPX, CZ scorpion s2, PTR, or a safe if the logistics work out. Will entertain all offers and trades. Located in San Antonio but would be willing to meet half way if reasonable.

I've always wanted one for some reason but have never bought one. I've been watching one at a pawn shop in Killeen for a while now, but can't spend 650 bucks on an SKS.

I've never understood this take... especially on TexAgs. It's not like you had to go to a store and go through any effort. He's trying to sell a firearm for his father. Give him a break. Someone may be willing to pay that for a brand new unfired SKS.

I don't know why some people are under the illusion that just because you're selling something on TexAgs it has to be a steal. Either buy it or don't, but don't ruin the potential sale for this guy by commenting that "he's price gouging!". That is most likely a starting off point for negotiation, and with the price of the pawn shop one being talked about ($650) he doesn't seem too far off for the times, especially for the demand of 7.62x39's.

Secondly, not everyone on here always knows what they have in terms of value, so keep that in mind and if you are an expert, perhaps you can reach out and let the individual know what may be a better asking price to get it moving.

I don't think anyone is furious, just think it's a dumb and rude thing to do. Take running jokes to the running joke thread not "THE OFFICIAL GUN TRADING THREAD" where people are actually trying to sell their firearms. I'm pretty sure the guy trying to sell the SKS isn't in on the joke and would prefer that his post not be made into one.
