The 11 is a new deer. First pic of him was today. I'm just going and sitting with my dad and he's pumped to get whichever gives him a shot first.

My friends give me a hard time for running so many cameras on our feeders. You don't realize what you're missing til you have multiple cameras in the same area. Usually 3-4 per feeder. 1-2 on it and 1-2 on the trails approaching it. I bet 2/3rds of the animals I get pics of are only on one camera. Lots of bucks do not come all the way in to a feeder. They'll get close enough to check it for hot does and turn and leave. I think a lot of cameras just fail to trip a lot of times too for whatever reason. That and sometimes I think I like checking cameras more than hunting.

Oh I guess I just assumed he gave y'all a shot when y'all saw him chasing the other day.

New stand spot just move to 2 weeks ago. First pull on it.

Nice little buck, hes got another year or 2 on him atleast for shooter stage.

Damn thieves. Had our first card stolen by someone. Over a half mile or so from the closest fence line. Now have to go check and finds all the other cams to see if they hit anything else

I give up... these goats (they're all feral) can officially jump my feed pen. 34" panels and barb wire... they're all getting lead poisoning soon.

Left the gate cracked to get some pigs at this feeder... it worked, sort of. Only got this guy to come in

What happened?

Sounds like he got one of the few new with a bad bolt shroud, I'm sure Bergara CS is taking care of him.

Nothing from CS yet, puryear was nice enough to send a text to his buddy that's high up the food chain with them. It'll work itself out.

You leave and go on one little duck hunting trip only to come back to pics like this.



And these little fellers getting sideways over the feeder. Spike on the right, is actually missing his entire tail. Will be interesting to see if I get pics in future years.

Definitely mature... how mature is the real question.

If I knew I had a mainframe 12 walking around, he would be on the do not shoot list for several years. The question I would want to know is that deer closer to 5.5-6.5 and have a year or two left of growth or is he starting to decline? That answer would drive my decision.

That being said, that's a great deer for where I hunt and may not be that great for you or your area.
