my dad and i put up 2 cameras near active trails with mineral blocks to stop the deer for a second. well, i think the rain washed those away pretty quick.

here's what we got over a month between checking. my flash card had faulty memory. no pictures taken. had to reformat.

his contain 9,715 pictures. of those a grand total of 6 had any form of animal in them.

here are the best 2 shots.





talk about a massive fail.

Checked today. I've been holding off breaking out the bang stick for pigs, but with the newborns I think it's time. Some new bucks have shown up. Nothing special, but getting more and more mature. Cmon rut!

so, did you have cattle break in or did you just expect them not to mess with it?

4 tee posts and two strands of barb wire is a lot cheaper than a new feeder.

And I feel your pain because I am on feeder 3 in two years but inside a pen and from Aoudad... it really sucks driving up on a feeder to pull a card/hunt/foo it only to find it on the ground

Pulled the camera card a few weeks ago and have a handful of decent bucks. Really looking forward to seeing these guys in person, sooner rather than later.
