They obviously come to the deer feeders (corn), but any other stuff to add to the mix that is effective?

I've had luck with soaking corn in water, jello, and yeast or cheap nasty beer for a week or two.

You can also pour in some milk.

Pig pipes keep them around for hours at my place

1. Pig pipes - don't require adding any sweets

2. Mix anything in a bucket with corn that'll ferment and either let it sit and sour or sit in the sun all day and set it out at night.

3. There are all kinds of sweet premade mixes at any feed or outdoor store to choose from

Use one similar to this along with some koolaid and sugar. Got it from a South Texas trapper that was on The Meateater show a while back. Works pretty well.

I mean, yea, there's tons of stuff you could add to the corn, but why if they are already coming in to corn? To me that's just over thinking a simple plan.

Corn = pigs

Corn + XYZ = pigs

One equation is easier than the other.

Pour some hog wild on the ground before your hunt. 100% of the time it works all the time

Just rigged one of these up. Did you add anything extra, or just put corn in it?

I normally put it out during the day and come back to hunt hogs in the evening. Smells damn good.

If you smell the bait and it makes you gag or throw up, the hogs will come.

I put this IN my feeder with the corn. I had one or two stray pigs that showed up occasionally. After doing this for one season, I now have 40 pigs every night, and its rare that someone doesn't have a litter of piglets in tow.

Be careful how you do this. Deer don't like pigs at the feeder. I don't hunt my deer, so I don't mind, but if you do, this is not the way to do. LOL.

Anyone ever had luck with this or the sow in heat? Or is it just a waste of $10? I want to get close to one this fall and stick it with my recurve.

i've had alot of success with this bringing in pigs. smells like absoluteeeeeeeee **** so dont get it on you. i put out my pig pipes and then put some on the t-post holding the pipe and a few lines on the pipe itself. had a few pigs pick the pipe up in their mouths, break the chain and run off with it.

Yeah I normally corn roads away from the feeders and pour this on the ground in a few spots. Definitely works

Straight corn in pig pipes for my trapping operations.

I am a fan of cheap peanut butter or burned peanut oil.

We put corn + Hog Wild Pig Punch in our traps, and we've had much success.

I hate sounding stupid? But what does a "pig pipe" consist of? Is a 4" pvc zip tied to a tree? Or a perforated pipe that rolls and dispenses corn?

I didn't see anyone post about adding diesel to their mash. Our mix was corn, diesel, Kool aid, and beer then let it sit for a few days to get nice and ripe.

Perforated and on the ground. Attached to a chain or cable on one end with a swivel.

You can dump some powdered jello in it or some strawberry syrup on it. I usually just dump corn around it and some pigs figure it out quick. Those pigs teach the rest of them. So ideally don't shoot the ones rolling the pipe. Kill the free loaders.

We've used corn soaked in Big Red successfully. Pigs love it.

Get a bag of Apple flavored corn, 2 big bottles of cheap strawberry soda, 3 boxes of strawberry powdered jello mix, 3 packets of Fleischmann's Rapid Rise Instant Yeast, cheap beer about 3 cans, 1 big jar cheap Grape Jelly, 1 can of Steen's 100% Pure Cane Syrup.

Add the ingredients in a 5 gallon bucket then add water and mix well. Let sit for a few days cover kid but slightly vented. Then dig a few shallow holes in the ground and add into the shallow holes and also add some directly on the ground.
