I think the argument over whether these kids are good or bad has been well discussed. I didn't always make great decisions as a kid, granted I did not enter someone's home in the middle of the night.
What bothers me is the ignorance these kids have of the fact that if that door opened and they stepped in that there would be an armed homeowner that would blow a smoking hole in them. These kids, their families and an entire community would be deeply affected by that. That one bad decision, dare, will end up with someone getting shot.
I live in an urban neighborhood skirted by some not so great areas. Weekly there is video of porch thieves, car being rummaged, garages being broken into for items as small as bikes, lawnmowers, personal items, as minimal as a pair of shoes off the porch. It's just a matter of time that the wrong house is going to be ****ed with and a kid will die in someone's backyard.
