Not me. Stephan had to contact the owner.
I have to provide information by email and he does as well.
It's a mess but it'll work out. I'm not buying from them though.

I'm sure there is some quality craftsmanship going into this one...better hope you don't have any issues with it. After the fiasco of delivering their product, I'd have zero expectation of them standing behind their work.

I'm a little nervous. There'll be no service after the sale. I live too far away. I'm hoping it's a quality product.

The purchaser really got screwed over. Paid in full, not completed on time. He's a much nicer man than I am.

I'm trying to get it picked up next week.

Funny part is why all the paranoia on gator pit's part.
This thing was paid for long ago. He's got his money. Why does he care about who gets it or who it's titled to if he has documents from all of us.

I don't get it but I'm sure he's got his reasons.

They are acting like a shady contractor.

Probably spent OP's money long ago and having to go in their pocket to finish it.

Now they have steele tariffs to worry about.

They take some time, but Gator Pit's quality is second to none, and they will stand behind their product. So don't worry about that.

I got a custom Gator Pit a couple years ago or else I would have jumped all over this one. For the pit you are getting, that is a great deal.

No kidding. If I hadn't already bought a $3K offset a couple years ago I would be all over this.

EDIT: After reading this thread, never mind. Hope the pit isn't **** by the time they finish. Doesn't sound like they're too happy about the deal and wouldn't be surprised if they're taking some shortcuts. Won't recommend Gator pits to anyone ever again.

No kidding...I would have had a lawyer draft up a little letter and gotten a refund pretty quickly. OP must be a lot nicer than a lot of us folks!

Meanwhile, hope you get a good quality pit that they've been known for and not a sabotaged POS made by some whiny little a-holes.

This may be generally true, but based on this thread, I'd imagine they aren't standing behind this one. For whatever reason, they seem to be bitter as hell about it.

I've had my Gator pit for 15 years and am extremely happy with it. Back then I only delt with Ritch. I don't know who this lady is, nor do I understand her issues. I have recommended Gator Pits to a ton of friends who were looking for a good pit. If this is now how the business is being run, I won't ever send a friend there again. Very very disappointing. Please let us know how this ends and take pictures of the finished product.

What more do you need to know? It's been spelled out pretty thoroughly on this thread.

We are dealing with a woman and a company that has clear dropped the ball...Now they're reluctant to admit that they are at fault.

The gator pit quality is top notch, and I would love to have one, but their backlog for delivery is just crazy. The backlog has been that way for several years from what I understand. I would never wait that long for a pit when I was ready to drop that kind of cash. I hope this works out for you.

Sounds like Gator Pits has some explaining to do. Would love for them to show up on this thread and give the info/make it right. Until then, I'll go with what I know from this thread - an incompetent and unhelpful group of folks- no matter how good their pits are. And that's not a company worth doing business with.

Owner will not let me pick it up on Saturday. He's off. No exceptions

I asked if I could leave it until April 14. Spring game. I'll be headed up to see that. Thought it wouldn't be a big deal.

lol. Over 10 days is a $25 per day storage fee. They don't have room to store trailers.

Basically, it was paid in full and not delivered on time.

However, he can't hold it for two weeks extra to save a trip. This guy. I wish I could so business like this.
I'm disappointed and don't even have this thing. I have no idea how he can act this way and anyone buys his product. I honestly think he thought he was keeping this pit and going to re-sell it. Nothing else makes sense.

I know nothing about gator pit, but I know a lot about service after their sale. It sucks.

If you're considering one of these you should read this entire thread. If you're still considering one after that...you're crazy.

That is some serious BULLCRAP right there. I'm surprised they apparently think they can stay in business with atrocious customer service like this.

You're probably right about them being upset that they missed an opportunity to double dip on this pit. I'm far to old to be a righter of wrongs on the internet so I have no desire to trash them online, but I guaran damn tee that I will not ever purchase a pit from them and will recommend Lyfe Tyme to others if asked.

in response to the story. not everyone has the benefit of TexAgs, and I've seen 1 star reviews for far, far less.

When was the pit supposed to be ready? Tell em you'll pay a storage fee when they pay a ****ty planning/scheduling fee.

Ordered in July for an event in February.

I say once it is finally picked up and settled, they should all of a sudden find an influx of bad reviews/comments on their Facebook and/or Twitter pages. But not before because I'm sure they would try to back out the arrangement then.

I'm sure they are going to use the hurricane as an excuse for not being able to deliver on time. In this scenario they should be bending over backwards to make the delivery as painless as they can. Saturday is a reasonable request in this situation.

I know this is already complicated, but I have some free time the rest of this week. I could pick it up before Saturday for you and keep it at my house in Katy til whenever you are ready to come get it. Just trying to help another Ag out.
