I think I've killed one in my life ever. Shot with a 20ga when I was a kid dove hunting. 8 years or so ago I found one swimming on Lake Belton early one morning while fishing, probably 200+ yards from the shore. I picked him up and took him to shore and dropped him off. He was exhausted. Never moved after I brought him into the boat. After a few minutes a laying down on the shore, he finally walked off.

My little neck of the woods growing up was much the same way. Still isn't much to do in town, even if it's 2x as big as when I grew up there. Hell, we went to the same basic spots and did the same basic things - drink beer, chase poon, find something stupid to do, as my dad did when he grew up there in the 60's.

Which is why things like chasing armadillos for no particular reason end up being stories from back in the day.

Awesome, give me a call if you have any free time. I'll be working around the house mostly. I have all of my sisters and their kids coming this weekend, so it'll be a little crazy.

If it gets too bad, we can always drive back roads!
