I still own my Tevas from circa 1998. I'm going to go update my spreadsheet and document the 1,674th reason that I'm a dork.

I still use them from time to time when I'm messing around in the yard and need something quick to put on in the garage (where they stay).

I bought my first chacos in 93. I'd still have them but in 2011 on a canoe trip below beavers bend, the White family of the south(meth heads) scooped then out of the water at a common tipping spot.
Last I saw of them, some 90 lb mullet was running into the woods with them.

Bought another pair and just as happy with them. I bought a pair of keens first but never cared for them. Seems like pebbles kept getting stuck in the toe area.

I thought they only made Tevas for females.

New Keen update for those that care-

Wore them all day Saturday on an indoor pool deck, they satyed wet most of the day. They were warmer than Chacos, but feet never got hot. Let them dry overnight and wore them yesterday and they are fine.

They have a much softer sole than the Chacos. I do like them more than I thought I would, but they have not replaced my chacos yet.
