FWIW....

I went by Serious Cigars this weekend while in the area, for a select baseball tournament my son was playing in. Wallet damage ensued.

I assume all got their gift sticks, but have not seen any reviews.

Sarge - thanks for bumping the thread. Terk sent me some great looking sticks. I've only had one so far, a Rocky Patel vintage 2003 camaroon. Trying to let them settle a bit in my humidor but couldn't pass up a chance at a camaroon.

I'm still somewhat a rook, but it was a great smoke. My first camaroon wrapper, and it was lights out. Solid, even construction and burn. Draw was medium, not too tight at all which I'm finding I don't care for. Good mix of a pepper, coffee, and other earth tones. Enjoyed it over about an hour or so with a Woodford Reservre on the rocks. Delicious combo, will be trying Angels Envy next though (sorry, no derail into a bourbon thread).

Would definitely buy again (and will)!

Repaired and smoked the Olivia Melanio that was sent to me. Good smoke, bought another in my trip to Serious Cigars a couple of weeks ago.


The Oktoberfest was poorly constructed, and I gave up on it.



Saving the "Leaf" for an occasion smoke.


Had a new one that I got on my trip to Serious Cigars, and it was a great surprise. The Jerico Hill, whatever. Dark wrapper, box pressed. Wow. Wow. Beat the pants off of the last Padron 64 Serie Principe I smoked. And that aint easy.

Benjamin at Serious Cigars hooked me up with it. Also, mentioned that the AJ New World I sent to my pass-ee was the best bang for a buck in the house. It is a 6$ stick that I stocked up on while there. Unfortunately, I stocked up on some higher priced stuff too.

Damn, great minds think alike. I was thinking while laying in bed trying to fall asleep that I needed to go find this thread and revive it

Had me the My Father yesterday and a buddy celebrating his engagement had the Olivia. His smelled fantastic and mine went very well with three different bourbons we had. Excellent choices on your pass, sir!
