Yep. I'm not opposed to getting a little more in June but I'd much prefer mid July

Hell, even August. But I'm tired of rain and it keeps delaying projects for me to work on.

I'm on a soil conservation lake in Parker County. It does not appear that lake is draining properly (must be some kind of obstruction), and we are about 2 feet away from hitting the spillway. Could be an interesting week - haven't seen water go over the spillway in a long time. Soil conservation is supposed to come inspect it today which I assume is to confirm what was relayed to them over the phone.

Finally some showers around Corpus. Haven't watered the lawn yet this year and hopefully won't have to for awhile longer after this week.

Praying for some rain soon. These last 2-3 years are some of the driest years I can remember and this year so far is shaping up to be about the same thus far.

Located in central Texas.

I am in West Houston and we have been mostly missed by the rain in the last couple of week, so I finally had to break down and put some water on the yard Sunday night. Not that it has made much difference...the sod webworms killed off most of my grass last fall.

Are you ****ing kidding me? These are by far, not close, the wettest 4 years in all of history for central/east texas and the brazos basin. I thought canyon was full and youve had tons of rain too, thougn i only focus on the brazos now.

I don't live by Canyon Lake anymore. I live between Lampasas and San Saba and outside of the rain we had back in October which came to late to do much good for grass I haven't had anything but a light shower here and there. I'm sitting at about 4-5" on the year now with about the same last year and year before.

Heck they were handing out money for drought insurance in my area last year. The funny thing is if you drive a few miles in any direction it looks like a different world.

I didn't realize it was that bad that direction. Just assumed your area had rain given all the rain within the 35 corridor near Temple. That is tough.

Wish i could send several of the feet of rain up your direction then.

We were hammered last weekend, looks like from today through Saturday is going to be good and wet again. High rivers, high tide, high rainfall, saturated ground - awesome.

It's Texas; that's a good looking map even with twice the yellow. Not saying it doesn't suck for those in the yellow, but I'd be surprised to see a map much better than that.
AgNColorado

That map gives a pretty good idea of the overall drought level of the state.

There's been years where it says I'm in a "drought" and I've had a wet year myself and then years like this year where I might as well have a dome over my place.

It's just luck of the draw and I've been exceptionally unlucky myself but that's just part of it.

9" since midnight here in Wharton, 13" in Midfield. Our street was completely covered in water this morning, I can think of 1 other time it's done that in the 7 years I've been here. Didn't even get that during Harvey.

Do not post rain reports here any longer. Cbr gets triggered and will call you out for any kind of "I needed this rain!" commentary.
