Hmmm 2 inches across the 35 corridor. 4-6 was predicted during the last tropical system. We got less than 0.10. I'll believd this when it happens. If it happens.

I got hit by a half dozen or so drops just now on a while on a walk. That is one of the heavier rainfalls in the past couple of months.

The rate of rainfall was the big issue today. Some places had nearly 6" an hour.

Seen totals ranging from 3 - 8.5" inches for the area.

For reference, Houston streets can handle about 1" per 15 minutes or 2" to channel to storm drains and bayous. Looks like no homes were flooded, so it looks like the system pretty much worked this time.

Only got 0.6 on the southeast edge of New Braunfels. I'll gladly take it, but we were powder dry when it hit. Going to need way more than that the next few days for it to make any real difference for us. We're in this very small microbubble that keeps dodging the heavier rainfall totals this year. Frustrating but nothing we can do.

Got ~8" of rain ITL Houston in 3-4 hrs today. Pretty good street flooding all around the heights and rice military. Drained off quick after the rain slowed down.
