This white post in the photo is now a foot under water in the last 10 hours. Richmond crest forecast was just updated to over 49 foot. This will be hell for the next month. Prayers for our livestock and all those in the path.

Still got 30 down there. 15 were worked up into the trap to work in the stock pen. Other 15 are gonna ride it out unless we can get them this afternoon. Haven't told my wife yet her first cow's first calf hasn't been found yet. Gonna do everything we can. They are tough so we haven't given up hope, but probably 48 hours before they are on their own.

Both. You can go to austin texas.gov and list the pool closed indefinitely until debris and damage can be assessed and that was before this mornings downpour.

Saw this on YouTube this morning. Couple other videos out there but this gave the best view. It's from the 24th, but I imagine it will take a while to clean up too.

i feel like i've seen that vid before. judging by the compression on it, i would guess that its an older video, but they could have just been using a really crappy phone or point and shoot.

Comments say Shudd's Crossing, which is about 10 miles south of Sabinal on RR 187. As pointed out, the date is from a year ago.

River flooding is tricky. Every foot it goes up it goes out hundreds of yards into flood plains. We are only 2 foot higher this week from last. But that difference is nothing to worry about and everything waist deep.

Also look at the flow rates changing.
