Also, I heard the 12 foot + rise was from one flood gate being opened, and today they had four of five flood gates opened that will flow into it.

That kind of rise isn't going to happen. The Saturday rise came from the Pedernales basin, where there are no dams. Last forecast was that Travis would rise to around 652. Last check this afternoon, it was at 649.

I just went and looked at the Guadalupe at the Fischer store on 281 and man its flowing like crazy it's probably 8-10 feet higher than where it normally is

On travis: It helps that the up river dams are open and travis's isn't. So all the water is just filling up the lake. Every bit of rain in the basins above buchanan and travis is going to their capacity right now.

It's 30 feet from conservation level, not from full. Yes, it is still 279 ft from full. Travis' capacity is 1.113 million acre/feet of water. It's only at 637k acre/feet right now.

Yeah, I was wrong after I just looked into it. I heard Jim Spencer just say it's approaching 60% full.

Historic flooding on the Blanco from epic rains on Saturday. Got another 5" at the house today. Shoal creek was over House Park football field. Crazy/normal.

Ohhh. I've never been there. They just said the dam failed at the state park. I assumed the state park was at Lake Bastrop. I guess it's not that big of a deal then.

Electricity in my part of round rock out for 2.5 hours now. Old settlers park pond flooded out and draining over spillway (only second time in last 10 years I've seen that happen this high).
