I am looking for some guide recommendations for a Southeast Texas duck hunt. If possible, I would like a guide who caters to father/son type hunts since I will be inviting my father-in-law and brother-in-law along for the hunt. My BIL is 16 and only has one waterfowl hunt under his belt, so I'm hoping this can be an awesome learning experience for him.

I've seen some advertisements in the past for special "youth hunt free" type gigs, so I would definitely be open to that since I will be covering the cost for the three of us. However, I don't want to sacrifice a the quality of the experience so please offer any feedback you have.

I'm located in Mont Belvieu, TX and I'm open to any area from El Campo to Sabine. I'm typically a walk-in hunter myself, but I'm hoping to save my in-laws from a death march through the marsh. I'd appreciate any feedback and recommendations!

I recommend DUman08 and his outfitter WGO west of Katy. He'll usually let you know how the hunting is and he scouts hard. Physical labor is minimal. Very reasonably priced.

From Mont Belvieu, there should be plenty of options in the Anahuac/Winnie area. I've been on a couple guided hunts in this area in seasons past, but I couldn't tell you who I used. Let me see if I can get you some contact info and I'll report back.

Call John West of Blue Mudd Charters. He hunts the Pipkin Ranch near Winnie.

Where at? I'd be interested in that. Flooded timber is my favorite.
