Thanks, cool island. I haven't had roses yet. I have some holly bushes with my vendor, and didn't have the two tea leave bushes.

Can't go anywhere this evening but will definitely have to trade for some holly types if possible.

Question re: your orchard, your flowers, and your shrubs:

- for your orchard, do you just have 1 spot? Gridded out? How many trees?

- same for your flowers. I'm trying to cross pollinate using the cross hatch strategy, and even though I only have 2 species, that takes up some prime real estate. If you're going to use these en masse, what's your growing strategy?

- do these new shrubs make other new shrubs? What's the strategy with these things?

*edit: and your money tree strategy? I've been planting one a day...a lot of trees. How many do you have and does planting more than $10k work?

122 this morning for turnips.

1) I have 2 orchards. Each one had 4 of each tree. I also have random fruit trees spread across my island. They're not really In a grid. They're just close together so to not take too much space

2) I have multiple flower bed areas. I use the checkerboard method. I'd rather have multiple smaller ones situated in empty spaces than one large area I can't do anything else with

3) the new shrubs do not make other shrubs. These are just something else to make your island looks nice with. Unlike flowers you can't walk through these, so they are more like fences.

4) I shake a money tree every day then dig it up and replace it with the new money tree. I only plant 10k. At 10k you're guaranteed to get 3 10k bags. If you go above 10k upto the max of 99k, there is a 70% chance you get 3x $1000 bags, and a 30% chance you get 3x how ever much you put in the hole
