Yeah we nipped that crap on the bud quick! My son plays some, but honestly wouldn't care if he turned it on and saw it was down. I guess he doesn't play enough. In fact he hasn't played since Fri night or Sat

I'm using an Xbox One controller and it works great!


In regards to the discussion on PUBG vs. Fortnite, I used to be a die-hard PUBG fan, but (also to someone else's point) Fortnite I can play with my kiddos, so now I'm on the Fortnite train!

The cross-platform availability makes it to where my son on his Xbox or Switch can play in a match with me while I'm on my ipad.

What the hell is this game? Is this like doom or half life? Just another FPS? My Kids don't really play video games on their iPad and they don't have any other devices so I'm sort of confused on this l.

Make sure you check your settings before you play. Lots of things likely reset to default.

hey! I may be a millennial, but I'm not the most tech savvy person. I love Fortnite Ch 2. Has the nostalgia of season 1, the loot pool is smaller which is awesome, graphics are great. Got the victory umbrella with a 21 kill random squad win.

I like that they put you with bots if you aren't good. I've been meaning to pick up keyboard and mouse PC gaming after 20+ years of controller based gaming. Maybe this is my chance...

I got 13 kills on a squad VR today. Definitely bots. I'm average at best.

A win is a win. Pretty sure the bots have a specific skin. I think it's a robot looking one so they're easy to spot

I won my first game on. The initial drop out of the cinematic. It was definitely a bot game. I had 7 kills and it took forever to get the final one because it was a really dumb bot. It eventually got trapped in the storm on the side of a mountain and died. But I got my umbrella so no complaints. 100% victory average for the season.

It's hilarious that there's a yeet button and you can carry and then throw a knocked opponent off a building or the map

My squad got on last night and I feel like we are fairly decent (prior to this season) and we didn't have a game where we didn't run into 10-20 bots per game. It didn't feel like we were even playing fortnite as opposed to some farming simulator. I really hope EPIC allows you to opt out of bots.

Also not a fan of the loot pool. It just seemed boring and I never had better than a blue AR the entire time. The rarities and upgrade systems leave a lot to be desired for me.

Jury is still out on this update for me.

Yeah I wish you could opt out. I'd say we averaged about 2 bot squads a game. The only thing I wish they'd do is make the spawn rate higher for shields since there's only bigs/minis now.

They want you to fish. You can get shield from fishing and also from breaking slurp factory canisters.

I finally had a chance to play Chapter 2 last night. I go through the intro and ge thrown out the bus. I felt lucky because the circle was moving in my direction. I 3rd partied a pair fighting and killed both. Down to 10, I started to slow play it to identify enemy positions. Right around this time, my "friends" start joining in and spectating. I get 2 more kills and now in a 1v1 for the win. Circle is moving to my build but my opponent has rockets and keeps knocking me down. He finally has to move with the storm pushing his back. I manage to melt him with my SCAR for the win. I'm on cloud 9.... Until one of my "friends " inform me I just killed a bunch of bots and start laughing at me!?! Now I understand how Charlie Brown must have felt.

I felt the same when I won that initial drop. But the good news was I got back on yesterday and won a solo match with real players. Could definitely tell there were bots in the match though.
