Got it today. I think after the initial boost in Golden Bois they hit it even harder today.
I got three out of one shard and two out of another in the same game to seal the deal.
And as we played onward, probably saw four more.
If you run random squads, shoot them a bit to get the HP bar visible then hold your rounds until it's gets low and unload to finish it off. My son had an "Ovaltine" moment today. He was all excited about the Marshmellow event. Got into a game and built a big fort with his buddies in Pleasant Park. He watched the "concert" for 2-3 minutes. And then, in a flat voice with zero emotion announced, "this is dumb".
It was amazing how they can make an event like that live across however many thousands of lobbies on all platforms. I saw Marshmello in Vegas a couple years ago and he put on a great show but mostly played hip hop. Each kill now gives you 50 shield/health, 50 of each material (150 total), max of 500 of each material, and farming amounts increased by 40% making you spend less time farming and more engagements
Also cool they have challenges you can do and then get the season 8 battle pass for free
