I feel bad about myself now. I thought the reason I sucked is because I am old and olds just aren't physically conditioned like kids these days to have fast reflexes and innately understand where an enemy is or how to turn slower or faster.

I still think that is true, but now I know that I am both old and stupid. There is no way I could ever think like that. I threw my hands up when he saw a guy with a balloon and just immediately, stream of conciousness, said, "Guy with a balloon. Shoot the balloon." Boom. 1 shot. Hit the balloon.

To be fair, it's a lot easier to shoot since he's on PC vs controller. Especially since there's no aim assist on balloons.

If they're on PS4 you could give a PSN gift card that can be converted over to V bucks. Other than that I'm not sure.

The strategy people are using lately is confusing at best. Played a solos match where one guy was just flying in a plane over the water (off the edge of the map) until someone finally shot at him with 6 people left. He was just flying in circles when I noticed him.

Sometimes it's just easier to complete a challenge that way.

Agreed. Also take some explosives out. There's way too many with grenades, dynamite, rpgs, launchers, quads, and then the boom boxes which are essentially explosives destroying builds.

Actually like the boom boxes as I've always hated build spam. They did a good job nerfing them by making the throw extremely short. It kills your building too.

We had a great match last night where we took a hill that had a huge fort on it. Hugged their fort then deployed a boom box and killed them when they fell.

So I got to toot my own horn on this one....

I've been playing a lot of the random un-ranked team games when I'm playing by myself to practice on my sniping.

Still not where I want to be but had a great line up last night.....had a guy floating across the map on a balloon slowing dropping down.....took him out taking into account his movement and bullet drop at about 130 meters.

That **** got me excited

Me too. I was having a sniper shootout with another player in solo and we both were missing horribly as the other player moved. I finally gave up and ramped over with a shotgun for the elimination.

I got into a scrap last night with someone right after I landed. The only weapon I had managed to pick up at that point was three sticks of dynamite. They had an assault rifle. I almost managed to win lobbing dynamite at them, but fail. Knocked their health down to 30% though.

So apparently you can crossplay between ipad and xbox players if you get a controller for the iPad. That is a game changer for business trips.

One of the challenges is pistol eliminations. I swear I think they nerfed pistols as part of that challenge.

FYI it counts as visiting an oupost if you just fly over it. It also counts as Landing in XYZ if you jump off a plane or zipline or glide into the town in any way.

I was actually in a game w the kids when it happened. A large hologram snow king threw snow and ice all over the entire island and cube monsters rebranded as snow monsters appeared.

Looks like a 5 day event and a normal squad mode without walker/zombies.
On a challenge note, has anyone had trouble with the destroying a flying plane? I shot one out of the air after someone bailed and destroyed another while in my own plane and neither counted.

I found a trick that worked really well.

Find a plane on the ground and shoot it up almost to the point of destroying it. Then take off in it and boost it straight up in the air then bail. Land on the ground as quick as you can then shoot it while the plane is still in the air.

Objective met.
