They nerfed the double barrel, removed C4s, bouncers, impulses, silenced smg, and the lmg. Kinda surprising but im fine with the changes. I was hoping for more changes to the map though.

Good changes and also agree about the map not being changed enough. Glad they left the grapple gun in. That thing is money

New area underneath Wailing Woods is awesome.
The building is significantly faster on console now and instant editing as well with the controller binds.
Finally messed around with the grappler.
So much speed, momentum, and violence!!

I had the last guy dead to rights scoped in my sniper and miss-judged the storm and died right as I was shooting.

For console players now that we can do custom key binds.
The problem with instant edit is that you still have to press B or O to confirm the edit instead of tapping your edit button twice. Pretty much defeats the purpose since you have to hit two buttons. Pretty sure epic is working to fix it
Trying this setup out in playground and the toughest thing is remembering to jump by pushing down L.

Is your epic account name the same? Allows you to hop on and play with the PS4 guys as well
I switched edit to be "B" or "O" depending on your console. That way you instant edit with that button and confirm with that button. I switched jump to be in with the left stick which helps with close combat jump fights. And "A" or "X" is switch between build and combat mode.saltydog13 said:

Definitely is confusing at first but definitely do-able and already showing some advantages.

Function = Playstation/Xbox
Jump = Left Stick Click
Edit = O / B
Confirm Edit = O / B
Switch Mode = X / A
Yeah I changed jump to L3, I'll try the swap mode on A then and edit back to B
I have tried that config a few times. I can see the advantage of having L3 as jump, but man.... I just can't do it. Feels so unnatural. I don't feel like I get into a bunch of jumping shotty battles, so I don't think I will be at too much of a disadvantage.
Edit: Update--- I switched it back to this configuration and spent an hour in playground mode building to the sky then editting down. I feel comfortable now playing this way, but man the first few times were awkward.
