Something else to take note of from that video is that some of the gliders notify you of people near you. This would be an advantage as you drop in and are too low to look around. I don't see myself switching from the beach umbrella though.

I like the new 50v50. It is awesome being able to deploy your glider anytime you drop from a high altitude. Now you don't have to have a launch pad or rift to get across the map. I'd personally like to see them make that a permenant addition to the game, especially if they do away with the rifts next season.
The new sniper rifle will be awesome from a distance if you are in squad play. Time it where you shoot the wall right before a teammate's rocket gets there.

The new sniper rifle is pretty sick. Learned real quick in the sniper shootout to double hunting rifle for quick shooting. Mainly play it to practice snipes for solo

The time trial to the northwest of tomato town can go **** itself!
It's easy if you use an ATK. No building required. Drive up the side of the mountain to get the one to the right when you are facing South.

That was nuts!?! We were slaying like a pro-scrim team during that 4 wins in a row stretch!
I stayed up way too late but wasn't going to back out of the party during that stretch. I'm barely functioning at work but at least my fortnite tracker has some padded stats: last 7 days, 13 wins, 15.7% win rate, 1.5 K/D.
BTW, that game you clutched on the mountain top outside Haunted Hills with the P90 still has my adrenaline flowing!!

Kinda got the wife angry though cause we had just put the kids to bed and I let out a very enthusiastic F-bomb with that one.

Ha! I actually havent played while drinking in a couple of months.... probably more a result of just not playing as much over the past three weeks though...
I hate playing solo. I either get multiple kills and die with about 20 people left, or I get 0 kills and finish top 6.

Definitely not the case today. So many try hards.
What system? We just won 2 and finished 2nd or 3rd place another time or two. We played a total of about 6 games.

We are on PS4. There are a lot of streamers on it as well, or people just have the option "streamer mode" selected in the settings.
I feel like we have a few nights where the competition is very good (multiple quality teams on at the same time) and then we have a few nights where there may only be one other good team that we see.

That's exactly what I'm saying.... as I cower away in shame.
I don't care what the reason is, but I'm loving it. We had 5 wins in 13 games today, including 2 wins out of 3 matches in a PC lobby.
29.5% win percentage over the last 7 days in squads.
However, the games we lost, we were absolutely destroyed in.

This is DiehardAg. 2/3 on PC lobby was the most impressive. High school PC gamer me would totally destroy post college PS4 gamer me. I have been really debating getting a PC again as Christmas present to myself, but no doubt it's WAY easier to be agile on a PC. Not to mention the advantages of a smaller screen, higher resolution and things should respond a hair quicker.
