My aim with everything other than the shotgun was on point tonight. I still need to work on build battles though. I got 2 or 3 kills almost every game and then died in a build battle (usually ending in a shotgun battle that I would land two hits but not headshots). I hardly run with a shotgun anymore because of that. I did, however, land two headshots back to back from about 75 meters with a green revolver to get 2 quick kills.

I just started playing this on XBox over the weekend. I'm terrible but have managed to finish in the top two a few times, mainly by hiding. My kill count is so low it's almost funny. My handle is "thewordwhy2" and I just use my 18 year old's account.

Still don't have a Season 5 win. I've gotten 2nd place twice in solos where I died to storm damage as I did not understand the way the final circle worked. I thought the final circle moved randomly as it closed but that is not true. The final circle is IN THE STORM and will move to that location. Here is a good explanation:

I don't like this new feature. It completely changes end game strategy. Before, you tried to time getting the high ground. Get there too early and you have to defend against multiple people rushing you. Get there too late and you are in a bad position to rush the final team.

Now, it is almost a luck of the draw. If you are backed against the storm and it moves away from you, even if you have better position, they just have to spam fire you and try to keep you still long enough to get caught in the storm or expose yourself to the gunfire.

Launch pads will be key in that situation.

It's better because it keeps that one dude from getting lucky that his giant base that he built like a moron ends up being in the final zone while everyone else is screwed. Much needed change.

Whelp....just made a disappointing discovery....

Was playing a lot of 50v50 cause I can usually get 2 kills per match, and nowadays get 3-5 per match hoping to improve my K/D ratio...

Just checked out my stats on the website and realized none of those count

So unless I'm trying to get challenges complete looks like I'll be avoiding those extra modes from now on.

50v50 doesn't count toward stats, but I believe a lot of the other modes do (gold, snipers, etc.) when they are active.

Even though the stats don't count, the 50v50 seem like the most efficient matches to get XP (since wins are rare with random squads or non existent solo for me). You can get 50 xp for reviving 3 teammates so if you can stay alive until the end revive some people and get some kills it's pretty consistent. One of those 50v50 type matches is roughly the equivalent of 3 squad matches of dying before getting multiple kills and placing low if you get terrible random squad members.

If you can consistently place top 5 squads though with kills, I would stay away from the 50v50.

Knock the chests out in 50v50. It still may be difficult if depending on how many people drop to that location, but if it's near your bus you don't have to worry about getting shot, just getting to the chests.

First drop, I didn't get any. Second drop, 1. Third, 4. And on the fourth drop I got the final 2. My last 2 drops were to the building on the West side of the lake.

This. I use 50v50 for right now to complete all the challenges except the 3 kill to a town challenge since that'll be near impossible with most map layouts

If y'all haven't started using the new SMG as a shotgun replacement, y'all should. It's insanely good. You can kill someone with it before they even have time to get a shot off.

Second this. If you aim for the head, you can really cause some damage before they get anything on you.

Agree with this although I'll pick up a blue tac or either heavy. I almost never pass up gold duals or a blue drum if I come across one. The drums are money for close encounters.
