The issue Epic is going to run into is if it attempts to nerf the building as some reports from Epic lead us to believe (likely lowering the max amount of materials you can carry from 999 of each). They want to change the way the fights are ending. The issue here is that MOST people love the building aspect of the game and the strategy that brings with it. If they nerf that, they are going to make a lot of their followers mad.

I've had more wins in Season 4 than any other season. Simply stating that the Builder Pro change in April has made a lot of battles very annoying. Clearly people here love it.

I've only played Season 4 so the only difference I see b/w Builder Pro and the other layouts is one or two button presses, and I prefer the more efficient Builder Pro.

I suck at building so I mainly build two walls to give me time to switch guns based on range and say some Hail Marys before I die. Most of my gameplay is in the large team games, and focus on knocking out the base of the other teams forts and reviving fallen teammates.

That's a difficult spot - for example I really loved the homing rockets but they were OP. If there's some balancing that needs to happen, they may be able to do it gently without destroying the game.

The thermal rifle right now is the best thing in the game. Being able to spot anyone within 360 degrees is awesome.

I've been looking forward to this LTM. I hope/believe they are using it as a trial run for a permanent feature in the future.

I just watched a video of some people playing the new mode. They maxed out wood mats with two pallets.

Key notes:
1. You have 1 hour
2. There isn't a storm until 55 minutes in and then it closes in the remaining 5 minutes
3. You respawn when you die (unless you die in the storm)
4. You respawn by launching from the air again (but not from the bus)
5. You can edit each others builds, which can get confusing if you are 1v1 or 2v2'ing.
6. They have updated the map to show more areas being rebuilt from the meteor strikes (i.e. a lot of pallets in Tilted and wood framing going up). Dusty Divot now has a lot more grass and trees in it.

My only feedback would be that they need to find a way to change within the game if you and your teammates can edit each others builds. That way if you are practicing ramp rushing, etc. with your teammates, you can edit their builds and yours. However, if you are 1v1'ing or 2v2'ing, you can't edit your "opponents" builds.

Additionally, if you are 2v2'ing and you set a trap, your partner will be killed by your trap the same way the "enemy" will be.

That'll be nice considering it takes a full day of playing to make any progress leveling up.

Watched it from the hill to the south of the launch site while in a 50v50 game. Almost did not make it in due to the 4 min queue to log in. Some nice post launch action, keep waiting for the rift in the sky to open up

I built a little 1x1 behind the Snobby houses and hoped no one would bother me. It was pretty cool that the kill feed stopped at launch with everyone basically just chilling out watching.

I missed it due to seeing Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom with the family, but this video is sweet.

Has anyone found anything new on the map? I was at Lonely Lodge in 50v50 and found some "portal" type thing next to the main cabin. It's a lot like what the rocket was going through but obviously smaller.
