Had issues last night with some buffering/glitches during 50v50. The other players movements were jagged and not smooth. Shot at one with a shotgun as they were jumping then they disappeared and then reappeared on the ground as downed

The best tutorials I had were actually playing Save The World. There are challenges in that side of the game that work great for practice building without the threat of PvP battles.

^Mad because console players aren't handicapped by having to scroll through building objects? Yeah that makes sense...

First squad Victory last night! Holy hell, there are some terrible players out there that simply don't have a team mindset. Finally matched with a player with my mindset. Stay away from the main front and gather weapons/material and slowly work you're way in. We took the largest hill in the storm and just waited until everyone killed each other. Between the two of us, I had the only kill...the last one.

0 Solo Wins in 27 Matches (Made it to the final 2 several times)

1 Duo Win in 38 Matches

2 Squad Wins in 124 Matches

Realized from looking at my scores Squads is where I do worst....Duo and Solo Regarding score per match do much better.

Anyone know what factors in to your match score?

You get points for all the things you do. I think it is 50 for the first kill and 10 for each after. Points for looting and length of time you survive as well as place. At the end of the match, hit the match stats button and you will see the tabulation of your score.

You have to buy the different skins or unlock them thru the battle pass/free pass

I'm still on the default skins, but at least they cycle thru different looks. I do not even have an Epic account, just a freeloading SOB

Squads are tough when you get random morons that drop into tilted, even by themselves, and die immediately.

We basically assume if we do Fill that we are going to play with 3, but sometimes you get a good one.

Key is having your squad quickly mark where you want to go, so you have a chance that the guy will come with you.

Got my first squad win with the kids today (had one before with randoms).

Then, my son got his first ever solo win on a Switch. I can't even control the thing on Switch.

What the switch needs is dynamic response to the controller and motion control. If I push the stick full forward, it should either cause me to sprint or move the camera at a faster rate. When I'm running, I like being able to do quick 180/360s to check my 6. But when I'm shooting, I want to just nudge the cross hairs a bit.

I can't stand aim acceleration because it's so much harder to master turning on people and such when the turning speed is changing. I'd suggest setting a higher general sens and adjusting your ADS sens.

I've been practicing building 1x4x4's...

Really it's just keeping the RT pressed, spinning, and jumping. The hard part is timing the LB & RB's shifting between walls, floors, and ramps.

Do y'all set a default build piece? I was wondering if ramp or wall would be better?

What do y'all think?

Also, I'm enjoying the effectiveness of the pump shotgun in close fights. Jumping in between shots is surprisingly effective.

I'd do 3 high instead of 4, you'll take fall damage from 4 if it gets shot out from below.

Got a 70" inch 4K tv last night. Switched my Xbox to 4K mode and wow it looks so much cleaner than it already did. Played one game to test it out and got 2nd place. This is a good sign for things to come

I wish I could play on a 70 inch but the input lag is just too much on most big TVs for me. I bet it's incredible to look at though.

It will take some getting used to but I don't know why it isn't the default configuration for console. It just makes so much more sense to have dedicated bumpers and triggers for each build type instead of having to cycle through the stupid unwanted pyramid...

For Builder Pro, why do they have different gun & map toggles? That's the hardest problem for converting over, and is completely unnecessary.
