Not really a fan of them adding thermal scopes in V4.4. I suck and creeping behind buildings to flank the other players is one thing I'm good at, now I will be sniped every game. At least 50v50 is back

It's much harder to win now that builder pro is a thing. Skill gap closed between medium and great players because people can just spam the **** outta building. I'd suggest practicing building in "panic mode" to get high ground on the other guy. Bailing on a build fight is sometimes the best idea if the other dude is still continually going up, but if they're keeping an eye on you, they'll gun you down if you run, so you just have to build better.

The thermal scope assault rifle is not as bad as I originally thought. I enjoyed using it last night and it is not much different than what you can see with the regular scoped AR. Did get fooled with the thermal signature of a gold chest thinking it was a player, and gave away my position.

Oh I consider myself an excellent builder. I have finished 2nd place probably 20 times. I guess I just can't handle the adrenaline in the final 2

Don't sweat it. I probably have 3x the 2nd place finishes as I have wins. The adrenaline is what makes the game so addictive.

I have found winning is easiest when there are 3 left. I try not to be too obvious and hope the other 2 start fighting. As soon as the do, push in and try to finish them both. If you find yourself pinched, try to disengage and place another player in the middle.

My nephews introduced me to this game on Easter. Really slow getting up to speed and figuring out all the building, strategy, and maps. It's the most fun I've had with a shooter since GTA or SOCOM 2.

When do most of the xboners get online?

Man I can't even figure out building on this game. Granted I've only played a handful of times, but I still wish there was a tutorial you could do. Haven't found a decent YouTube video to break down the basics.
