if anyone has a season pass and needs to complete challenges, I suggest using an iPad to do the non-combat ones (heck maybe even the combat ones if you can handle the clunky controls).

One of this week's challenges was to open 7 chests in snobby shores. I went there on the ipad, and only one other person showed up, and they were using a default skin. I was able to kill them and open every single chest in snobby.

It appears to me that the vast majority of iOS players do not have a season pass, which means that most of them are probably noobs.

Yes mobile is great for the bs challenges that you don't want to do with your buddies in the evenings.

Also great to log in once per day to get your daily challenge loaded even if you aren't going to play that day.

I have seriously died about 6 or 7 times this week where the individual that killed me had 7 or less health left after the fight, most of which I should have won because I started with better position. I need to start aiming higher to get more headshots.

The bullet/damage drop updated really changed the way I've seen people play, plus sometimes the spread is just ridiculous.
No one should have to work to survive. Your right to life should not depend solely on your ability to produce capital.

When it starts to get slim like that, my heart races and I get really into it, start freaking out over every shot or footstep heard. It's a lot of fun

Happens to me a lot now. I wonder if those last 7 hp are a lot harder to knock off.

The adrenaline definitely starts ratcheting up as the number of players on the map go down. I have to warn you though, the rush you get when you do finally win a solo is more addicting then crack!

The few rounds I've played has consisted of people being d!cks to each other while the other team gets slaughtered.

I don't know what's wrong with me, but I can only get 1 or 2 kills a game. If I want a top 10 finish, I pretty much just find a hiding place or something to wait it out. Totally suck at combat on my iPhone.

I didn't experience that, but I did notice that it is more of a free-for-all, everyone for themselves type of mentality. I didn't have any weapons, and was about to get a treasure chest, and one of my "teammates" destroyed it before I could open it.

I've enjoyed it so far. I have seen some of the negative things you speak of, but I try not to get caught in the mix. I've been collecting tons of brick and building a nasty tower on high ground then just using an AR to provide covering fire and destroy the other sides structures as the more aggressive players move in. Definitely chaotic though.

FYI: Don't sit on a bunch of replays. If you have something awesome, make sure you go back and record it to a video format ASAP

Same. I did this with a rocket launcher and total strangers were coming to my position dropping rockets so I could keep up the good work.

Finally got to play without the little ones interrupting. Started with 50 v 50 so I could learn the controls without as much worry. Once I got three or four games of that in I went to solo play. I've had mixed results to start.

I make top 15 each time I don't forget about the closing space. Made 7th one time, but watched the other players until the end. No way was I getting top 5. Need to work on building a little more accurate instead of just speed. Combat was easier to get down. Just need to get down timing jumps better since that's all people do.

My third or fourth solo game had two battles back to back that I won. I was impressed with myself until getting waxed a minute later by a shotgun.

Firing at some random team across the map, exposing your teams position, and calling out "guy over there" without providing a number... those activities don't count towards carrying the team!?!

Bought the battle pass way late in the season, but made it to tier 100 today and have enough V bucks to pay for the next season. Thanks FIDO95 and Old Buffalo for working with me to complete a lot of the challenges I needed this past weekend, even when it put us in a bad spot in squads.

Yeah, spectating to the end has taught me that I will never win outright. I just try to make it to second place. I almost won once by making it to the last 2 and then rigging my fort with C4. When the last guy came over to find me, I blew the whole thing, but he barely survived and I died.

Happy to help. I really enjoy the challenges as it gives you something other then the victory to play for.

Last night on Duos, I led Clobby on the "Taco Run". We dodged sniper fire from Shifty all the way to the soccer fields. The last Taco was in Tilted Towers. We got into an engagement around the building with the Taco shop. Clobby got knocked and I knocked one. I started trading fire with the remaining guy. Unfortunately, he killed me (he only had 8 hp left!?!) but I fought him off long enough for Clobby to crawl into the Taco shop. We actually weren't sure until we got back to the lobby. Lost the game but it still felt like a victory!

That does make it fun. I knocked out the Taco Run yesterday afternoon as well. I took the easy route and did it during a 50v50. However, I had to attempt it twice because the first time I landed in the wrong location and ended up dying in the storm about 50 meters from the last Taco Shop. The storm on 50v50 takes off 10HP per second or so btw. I couldn't even use my bandages fast enough to make a difference.

Also, I know I made another guy mad yesterday. I needed to get the explosive kills, and a guy tried to snipe me as I was running around Loot Lake. He was on the big island. I ran over the hill that I knew he would have to run through as well because the storm was closing in and pushing us in that direction. I hid in a bush, and he made his way towards me stopping at different trees and knocking them down. I waited until he was at the tree near me, his back towards me, and he was chopping away. I littered the ground around him with grenades and got the kill. There wasn't anything he could do at that point. It felt cheap, but I needed the explosive kill.

Are there some places that are more likely to give up a sniper rifle than others or is it random? The difference between whether I have 5 kills or 1 is if I get a sniper rifle.
