Agreed. I was in a top 5 situation sporting double rockets. I fired the first rocket at the base of an opposing fort and went for the quick fire of rocket #2. Just before the rocket launched, I glitched backwards causing my rocket to blow up the top of my fort and hit me with splash damage. Someone then one shot killed me as I was standing fully exposed on my fort trying to figure out what the heck just happened.

Perhaps I just got matched for that game to a crap server in Brazil or something!? The games later in the evening seemed much smoother and DD_3 and I had a few good runs.

Zip04: DD_3, clobby, and I are usually running duos or squads form 8-10PM. If you want/need someone Aggies to pair up with on PS4.

PSA, there is a new glitch in the game: If you see someone on your team with a Scar, it is really a common AR. Epic is currently working on fix.

I've added a while back you but I never see you on? You might have your settings to "appear offline".

Your first shot is 100% accurate when standing still, you'll know it's active when the reticle gets really small and fades a little. You still have to be on target obviously but that first shot will hit.

Monsterdface is a youtuber that has a lot of great videos, most on console play. Find his playlist and start with tutorial #1.

Land in pleasant park, retail row or greasy to work on gunfights. Pick one and stick with it until you have a good loot path layed out.

Land in wailing woods or moisty mire and chop a bunch of trees. Work on fort building speed.

Then combine the two skill sets. Have fun.

I agree. I wish I could change some of the mapped keys though. Specifically, left click the left toggle to change building material and swap the left and right trigger keys so that the ramp/floor are on the right and wall/roof are on the left.

I am a sound hoar for sure. I turn the game volume all the way up when I'm playing solo and turn the bass up a little higher on my mixer. The first time you're camping in a fort and then hear someone building some brick stairs makes you poop your pants a little

Yeah. Being able to tell which direction the shots heard were coming from and discerning the difference between footsteps and the construction in progress was a big help.

I love layout how it is, but I use a scuf controller so I have the B button mapped to a paddle on the back of my controller for my right middle finger. My A button is mapped to a paddle for my left middle finger. So my right thumb really never leaves my joystick. And I have trigger stops that help me shoot semi-auto weapons faster

My biggest hang up is just trying to remember which trigger is for stairs and which is for walls.

i'm using the razer basilisk on PC



I'm using the lower thumb button as the action key (open, pick up items). Side mouse 1 as the Build Menu and Side Mouse 2 as the equipment slot (trap/jump pad). Mouse wheel scrolls through items.

I pretty much never have to take my left hand off WASD.

TLDW: news interviews guy from a tornado. He saw that his neighbors roof was being ripped off, but he only had a couple of people left in Fortnite, so he tried to finish.

I absolutely love my HyperX Cloud Alphas. I use them on my PS4, but they work on the XBox one as well. If I had to make a complaint, it would be that you don't hear yourself talk. However, the headphones are amazing.

I have been using Astro A40s for a couple years now. Absolutely love them. Only real complaint I have with them is I can't adjust party chat volume and game volume individually. You get one or the other. I remember I used to be able to do that with an old pair of Turtle Beaches I had back in the day

In the past week, I have been in the final 2 four times only to get 2nd place four times in row!!!

The last couple of days I have just been dropping into Retail Row. I've been averaging 2-3 kills there, but have died once we get to the top 10 - usually because I do something stupid.

Supposedly, the comet is supposed to strike Tilted Towers tomorrow.

I was top 2 last night when I hid under the last guy's fort. He had no idea where I was. I placed explosives under him, but had to run out of hiding in order to set them off. He shot me before I could hit the button.
