I have the GFX 50S and the raw files are already 110 megs each... that would put the 100 megapixel camera over 200 megs per pic, sounds fun... With that said im sure ill switch bodies when they come out with the new one.

Yeah those comments are over the top. I don't shoot professionally, and don't recall ever losing photos to a bad card, but that doesn't mean I want to tempt fate if I can avoid it.

I don't disagree with your arguments about using dual card slots, but it wasn't a factor when I bought my cameras and its just a risk I'm willing to take as opposed to buying a new body at this time. There's nothing elitist about wanting the best equipment, though.

I'm also buying to shoot 99% for paying clients, which is my family's livelihood.

If I was mainly going to use it for my family stuff, backups likely wouldn't be as huge an issue

I'm fine with saying that an event pro should use two card slots at all times (and have enough insurance coverage to redo the entire event).

I think it's a tad bit over the top to say that people should always use two slots, even for personal stuff.

I don't change my pro settings for personal stuff to eliminate the chance that I will forget to change it back for a client.

It is so funny to see all those crazy comments.

I shoot for fun. I get paid a tiny bit and spend far more than I make. It is a "hobby" so if something goes wrong then I do NOT have an angry bride / customer. If a card or camera goes bad then I just keep on going with my backup or go home. I also don't shoot in the rain.

Professionals have to have redundancy. Thomas can't shoot a $75k wedding and say "oops"....sorry....I had a technical problem.

That MC-11 works well on the RIII with a Sigma 150-600C. Got any pics to view from this nice looking rig? I'm looking at selling my 7D2 most likely to buy an a6500.

Looks amazing! We are waiting on ours to ship from B&H...

The color on these shots look great! Are you using one of the built-in picture profiles, or shooting with DJI's d-log? If d-log, are you creating your own LUTs in resolve, etc? Or have you found some LUTs online that you would recommend?

Just using standard profile, no grading at all, just trimming/arranging clips. I've seen a few vids online that have been graded out of D-log and they look phenomenal, really need to try it soon.
