Anyone pre-ordering tonight?

I may if I can decide between the iPhone 6 Plus and the LG G3......

Actually having a hard time with it. It will come down to pricing. If AT&T does not subsidize the LG, then iPhone it is.

I'm on a 3 year old 4S. My battery life blows chunks (as all 3 year old batteries do). Guess I will do the 2 a.m. CST wake up and get it early thing. Which is really hard for an old guy. I need my nappy time.

I'm probably going to get up at 2am and go after a 6+. Like Chipotle above it's time to retire the 4

This is one of the reasons why I'm not getting a plus.

Also think 6+ is too big for me. Had a g3 for a little while and thought it was too big

Anyone know how to preorder iPhone 6 on Verizon Business account? They keep giving me runarounds and telling me I have to call a number at 2 in the morning.

I made the cardboard model version of a 6+ ( 2 pieces of cardboard are right at 7 mm thick) and stuck enough quarters inside the sandwich to make the weight. That mother is big. Way too big.

Well.. That's when they go on preorder.

I know, but I want to make sure there's no way for me to order online before my only option is to call them. They also told me they wouldn't be able to tell me the shipping date right away.

I was a little concerned with this, but it's close in size to the lunatik Tatik case I had on my 4 which was a beast. This will be way lighter too

I gotta do the cardboard test tonite also.

Monoprice already has iPhone 6 cases available for 6 bucks. Will order that after my order goes though tonight.

Should be fine. If you're coming from an iPhone it'll seem huge. Having a G3 after a Nexus 5 and S3 before that a 5.5" phone is just fine. A 5.7 to 6" phone could be acceptable if the bezels can be eliminated.

I'm a Palm Treo fan, Palm self destructed when they panicked and rushed the Pre out because of the pending I phone launch. No backward compatibility to the Treo and left a lot of stranded pissed off Treo owners looking for a home. the Iphone is still not as functional as the treo, but it does "just work"

I've noticed the 4S I have starting to get more bogged down, I'm sure Apple planned this to make me buy the 6.

I'll have to go hold the two 6's before I decide which one. Getting old and the 4S screen is getting too hard to read, I have a work Ipad so I'm not carrying two just to have a better reader, and my backpack is heavy enough with an Alienware 17 in it traveling the world.

I'm hoping that the bigger 6 will be comfortable enough as an e reader, but not too big/uncomfortable for my front pockets.

Time will tell....

I did the cardboard test today - the 4.7" 6 seems too skinny and tall, the 5.5" is a behemoth. Sure would love a 5.1" model... Sigh. 1st world problems, I guess.

Got on Verizon's website and preordered an iPhone 6 Plus 128 GB at 1:55am. Not sure how that happened but not complaining.

Is there somewhere I can check to see if I'm eligible for an AT&T phone upgrade? I went to their site but it wants me to login (I don't have a login). I was hoping there was a place where I could just input my phone number and it would tell me.

Search best buy upgrade checker and just enter the required info. It'll tell you

Just looked at the details, I know the 6 Plus was big but I didn't realize they'd increased the size of the standard iPhone 6 that much.



I've got a relatively new 5s so I won't be in the market for an upgrade for a while, but I really don't want a phone that's any bigger than what I've already got as it's nicely pocketable and very usable. If I want more screen area, that's why I've got an iPad.

They were supposed to open 5 minutes later than it did so yeah I think I'm special.

Ordered the 6 and the 6+ (for wife) at 4 AM this morning from AT&T site. The six expected on the 19th, but the 6+ is 21 to 28 days!
