I agree the Dark Souls had superior level design, but I find that Demon's Souls has better gameplay balance.

And it was more fun. For me at least.

True, but I thoroughly enjoyed going into most areas completely blind. The only thing I would check is what items were in the area so I didn't miss something...other than that...

Better balanced gameplay wasabi? How so?
