Oosh, saw your iphone app reasoning, does the same reasoning fall into an Android app?

Is there any way you can make this so it keeps the premium forums at the top of the list instead of in the middle on my favorite list?

PS I'm posting this from my new iPhone 3GS and it's so smooth. I am sure I'll be using this a ton!

The M&W articles still don't format to my HTC Snap screen. Besides that it's allllsome.

FYI to anyone that has an iPhone 3GS...I just figured out how easy it is to take screenshots for you to post.

Just hold down the menu button and the power button at the same time. Voila!

Anyone using this successfully on a Blackberry Curve 8900? My Curve 8310 gives a decent browser experience thru Opera Mini, however when you attempt to reply to a post it takes you to the full version of TA then once you reply you are returned to the main home page.

Oh the gb right now there is a thread call Aaaahhhhhhhhhhh that throws off the frame for the thread list and allows for side to side scrolling on my iPhone. Not sure if that is by design or not.

On the forums page, sometimes I click on a forum and it takes me to the wrong forum. Click Home Improvement, get Austin. Click Football Other, get Basketball Other. Etc.

Not every time, just sometimes. But when it's happening, it seems to keep happening until I reload.

Nevermind. Just saw you support 4.7+, and I'm 4.6.

Are you able to look at the texags home page from the mobile version or just the forums?

Considering a good portion of the content on the home page is Flash, we may have to wait until the phones (iPhone, Pre, etc) can use Flash. I don't think we're too far away from that though.

Yeah, I forgot about the spat between Apple and Adobe. At least I know the Pre is getting Flash fairly soon.

HTML5, come on!

Since all the links on the front page to articles are simple HTML links, could you make a link to a page that has all those links in a mobile friendly format?

The iphone will NEVER have flash. Jobs doesn't want you to be able to watch TV and movies for free. he wants you to buy them through itunes.

Apple does support HTML 5 in iPhone OS 3.2 (not released yet), but it only supports open formats (ogg). For example, Youtube supports HTML 5 right now, but it uses h.264 which is a proprietary format. Mozilla refuses to include any proprietary software in firefox, so you can't use HTML 5 youtube in firefox. IMO youtube needs to drop h.264 b/c they have to pay a royalty EVERY time they encode something in that format, whereas OGG is similar in quality and is completely free and supported by ALL modern browsers.

okay, so i'm just now giving this a go. Here is what i am using.

Phone: HTC Ozone
OS: Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard
Browser: Skyfire v1.1.0.13052 www.skyfire.com

the "down arrow" that is supposed be be next to "texags BETA" is actually its own bar above it, and does nothing but reloads the page when you click it.

The "next" button on mult-page threads is MIA, only the "last" button is available.

"Next" button appears on a forum board.

I don't know how to take screenshots, so I hope this was helpful.

Maybe make the threads posted by staff a slightly different color? This would make things easier to pick out on the M&W board especially.

A slight shade of red seems to work quite well on my computer.

Would also be cool if you could make it so the recruit videos work on my iPhone...HTML5?

Not sure exactly since f'n iPhones don't work with flash.

The audio stuff works fine which is really nice.

Noticed something funny when loading the site in my browser on my MacBook Pro:



I know the site isn't meant to be viewed on a normal browser, but found the extra faces to be an interesting thing. Didn't know if y'all knew about this or not. Or, if it messes with the performance of the mobile site at all.
