Amazing we hit 10 wins and yet the season felt like we lost 10.
I would not want to see the Texans in the playoffs.
No pun intended, they are enough of a wild card beat anyone.

I still think it gets Saturday afternoon regardless. The other AFC wild-card round game would have been Harbaugh-Harbaugh, plus the marquee QBs, so I bet it would have gotten the night slot.amercer said:
Texans go first….
I guess if it had been the Steelers then we would have rated a night game
The other game was Baltimore and whoever the WC would have been to match them. That game would have been the night game regardless.amercer said:

So since the titans claim to also be the oilers does that mean they get credit/flak for the worst playoff collapse in history?

Meh i give that title to Atlanta now.
They do officially own everything associated with the oilers, the history, the colors, the hall of famers, etc.tjack16 said:Mr.Bond said:tjack16 said:

True… either way, they want to claim the oilers now, then they get their history as well. And they get the bad that comes with it.
You can't really blame the NFL on this one with how Houston performed against playoff teams this year and in prime time games. The NFL gave the team plenty of chances to earn a better game time but Houston didn't earn it. To the average NFL viewer Texans/Chargers is the least intriguing playoff game IMO. The Texans and the Rams are the only home teams that aren't favored this weekend. Houston on the season has a point differential of 0 while playing in the worst division in the NFL and 5 of their 10 wins were in the division. Rams somehow have a negative point differential and still won their division, they're also the only team in the playoffs to score fewer points this season than Houston.Mr.Bond said:

Agree with this. The Texans and Chargers are easily the two franchises in the post-season with the least amount of national brand recognition and following. No reason to get anything other than the first playoff spot (or Monday).Max Power said:You can't really blame the NFL on this one with how Houston performed against playoff teams this year and in prime time games.
