His momentum took him into the end zone. For plays like that, it's ruled as forward progress. Doesn't have to be because of contact with a defender like if you're on offense.

I mean you can't catch a ball and run backwards into the endzone but I always thought momentum carrying you in like that was a touchback. Weird

Yeah, his momentum went into the end zone and then he even re-established his momentum by getting up and waiting until he was called down in the end zone. That made no sense at all

If you re-establish your momentum, like he did by getting up, then it still should have been a touchback. I could see on the 1 if he just laid there waiting to be touched.
We do this every time. Were up big then we let them back in the game right outta the gate in the second half
Going to have to score more points starting with the next drive.
