People are freaking because we have a bunch of cap space and the expensive players are gone. I think nick is counting on signing a bunch of the guys that are getting replace with maybe 1 or 2 bigger guys that "aren't" on the market.
The #Texans are expected to sign #Titans LB Azeez Al-Shaair to a 3-year, $34M deal, source said.

This offense doesn't need a big name RB, and signing one is kind of a waste unless it's a true game changer like CMC. Also, I don't think Henry really fits this offense that well, as they want to use the RB all over the place. I would prefer Aaron Jones if we can get him for around 7 or 8 million (or less), he fits this offense very well.MelvinUdall said:
At this point, I just need them to address the RB position in FA and not just in the draft…take a swing with Henry and see where that gets you….I was OK with not landing Barkley given what that contract could end up being.

I agree. No to Henry. He's a 30 year old power runner that's about to lose a step. And it's going to take a contract of longer than 1 or 2 years - no thanks.IrishAg said:This offense doesn't need a big name RB, and signing one is kind of a waste unless it's a true game changer like CMC. I agree this would be a good move if they can get him for around the Swift/Pollard price. Jones is great in a zone scheme and great at catching passes out of the backfield.LincolnBorglum79 said:
A lot of speculation that Henry is headed to Baltimore and Aaron Jones to the Texans. If true, this was worth the wait. Aaron Jones is a better fit than anyone we missed out on today. He is a big upgrade over Singletary. They will also sign another RB or draft one unless Pierce is suddenly the answer again.

I don't buy it. We have all seen him break a girl's face. Not a Texans type of signing.
Aaron Jones makes more sense.

Wonder what his contract is? But, I have a feeling the whole "I'm gonna show them" mentality got him here. Because I have no clue why someone on offense would go to the Vikings right not, considering they have no QB.
