I actually really like Corum. I thought I might be in the minority there. Not a home run hitter but very versatile and reliable back.
Surprised people in here want to spend big money on a RB. Don't need a superstar at that position to win, spend the money elsewhere. I have my doubts that the Packers are going to keep Jacobs and Aaron Jones, that seems like a spot where you can land a solid talent still if you are willing to be in the 10 mill ballpark at RB.
Consider me in this camp. I had just resorted to the fact that it was happening given all the reports. Clearly that was the free agent RB's agents playing things up. Caserio doesn't have the track of spending on RBs - which frankly is the stupidest thing I think you can do in professional football. You spend on QB and the lines of scrimmage, particularly pass rush.

I'm not upset that we aren't spending money stupidly, but I do wonder what the RB room will look like.
Outside of Henry, you have nobody in free agency, and it is a weak draft for backs.

I know things have been pretty quiet out of Houston so far but let's try to not panic, feels like Caserio has earned some goodwill. Keep in mind Houston had 30 UFA's this offseason, the most in the NFL, a lot of those holes are going to be filled by players who might not move the needle much but are still very necessary to have on the roster. The only one I'm really disappointed about so far is missing out on Wilkins.
There are still plenty of guys to keep an eye on in free agency as options.

If we lose Greenard but get a guy like Danielle Hunter I won't be mad. Some splashy signings right now don't mean Houston is sitting on the sideline for everyone. I take it more that Caserio has prices outlined and isn't going to jump past his numbers. There are good players out there still to be signed.
Also, moves being made by other teams are going to impact current rosters. Being patient could give the opportunity to sign a guy or two that gets released elsewhere. The packers signed Jacobs and are cutting Aaron Jones as a result.

I'd take Brooks, Estime or Corum in the 3rd and bring back Singletary.

That's a good signing, we can use the deep CB class to draft someone with starter potential and slowly bring him up to speed. Autry isn't young, he's 33 but had 11.5 sacks last year with Tennessee. He also had 12 tackles for loss and 17 QB hits. He played in all 17 games, started 14, and played 67% of the defensive snaps. Greenard had 12.5 sacks, 15 tackles for loss, and 22 QB hits. While Autry is older and not quite as productive as Greenard, Greenard is twice as expensive.TheNotoriousP.I.P. said:
