#Texans fans, C/G Juice Scruggs was underrated throughout the pre-draft process.

Post-Draft Analysis
The middle of the Houston offensive line gets an upgrade. Given Scruggs' movement ability, he's an ideal fit for Bobby Slowik's offensive scheme and will push Scott Quessenberry for the starting center job right out of the gate. Scruggs wasn't ranked in my top 100, but the center class is running out of starting-caliber options early in this draft, and this is a good fit. -- Matt Miller

Depends on what we gave up, we don't need the crap ton of 6th and 7th round picks we have.thann07 said:
Texans are drunk on trade ups.
Dumb.
Take the BPA when it's your turn and move on.

- 68.7% success rate vs. man
- 73.7% success rate vs. press
- Strong separation ability on deep routes
Could bring some juice to the room down in Houston.https://t.co/FIej76U8zf pic.twitter.com/Bp77e8cnbf

Yeah, it's an odd one, and also a step away from the type of WRs they used in San Fran.mAgnoliAg said:
Seems like a good slot option but don't we need one more outside guy? We are good in the slot
This was the big concern with the Tennessee WR, that they're the Art Briles bust special offense WRs that don't understand route concepts at all in the NFL.Pahdz said:
Seems like a great route runner and less of a one trick pony. Love me a great route runner

Texans are going to Texan. We pass up a dude who put on a clinic in the SEC for a hometown kid for a PR stunt. Smh
I guess so, apparently they visited him multiple times and had him targeted to grab. Houston might be planning on using him as a gadget guy that they get the ball to around 15 times a game and he hits the big play. That 's a big staple of the offense, but it is kind of odd considering what the offense usually likes as a WR .mAgnoliAg said:IrishAg said:Yeah, it's an odd one, and also a step away from the type of WRs they used in San Fran.mAgnoliAg said:

I guess we are planning on playing Robert woods and Collins out wide and Metchie and Dell inside. If that was the plan going into today then I'm fine with this, although I thought Robert woods was better inside
