Tank Dell is awesome. He does everything well and is electric with the ball in his hands.

Jalen Hyatt has great speed, but he is a little stiff and ran a Mickey Mouse route tree in college. There are so many things Slowik will ask his receivers to do that Hyatt has never done.

lmao yeah the guy definitely doesn't know what he's talking about at all. Dude played at UH till he blew his Achilles out and retired and wanted to stay with the team.

I guess so, apparently they visited him multiple times and had him targeted to grab. Houston might be planning on using him as a gadget guy that they get the ball to around 15 times a game and he hits the big play. That 's a big staple of the offense, but it is kind of odd considering what the offense usually likes as a WR .

If he's really shifty quick, durable, and good after catch, then I'm good with that. We've been lacking a guy like that.

The WR room needed an improvement in explosion/speed and Tank is that. He is tiny, concerns about how he translates, but he was very, very productive. Route running + his acceleration/footwork are standout qualities. Don't love the pick, but it makes sense. Actually disliked the Scruggs pick more, feel Stromberg and Wypler are much better than him.

Hyatt is overrated. He never had to beat press coverage on college. I think he'll struggle in the NFL.

Again...C was a big need and we traded 6 and 7 rounders for the one they wanted.

Guys picked with those late picks are long shots to even make the team. We turned them into a contributor at a position of need.

Looking through some Alabama highlights and Metchie can play both slot and outside too.

I'm looking at Tank Dell highlights on Youtube right now and I'm really surprised at how many TD catches he made when the team was within the 10 yard line. He has an amazing ability to change directions.

If we are nitpicking, I probably like Josh Downs more than Dell. He goes in the division to Indy.

Then Spears to the Titans.

AFC South has really done well across the board.

I'll try to find the stat, but he had an insane amount of red zone TDs. Like twice as much as the next closest receiver in this draft. He's lightning quick off the line, so his size didn't matter at the college level.

Sure thing on the 6th and 7ths.

A 5 and above I don't like seeing traded to move up.

Mentally, I don't like trading your own future 1st rounder when your team isn't great.

I love getting Will Anderson. I wonder about Stroud. I think Levis was a steal at Pick 33 (and I didn't love all the Levis rumors at all).


I think part of the reaction is seeing 5'8" and 165 lbs for a guy that was traded up for. Hopefully he's great and it all works out.
