I actually feel bad for Ossai because he is going to take the blame when the fact is the whole team played like ass for most of the game. This wasn't the same Cincy that crushed Buffalo in the snow last week. Maybe they were reading their own press clippings.

Let's not forget the forward progress given to the receiver reaching out the ball and then pulling it back on his own, setting up a TD instead of a 4th and 1 for one of the worst teams in the league at converting 3rd/4th and 1. They got the progress rule right on the last Bengals drive tho, running the clock

Ossai had a great game then made a late-game penalty that set up the game-winning field goal. Had Ossai made that hit in the 1st Quarter, nobody would have cared or tried to blame him for the loss.

It also sucks that there were three other penalties in the 4th Quarter against the Bengals that did not seem correct and there were several non-calls that should have been made against the Chiefs.

Well damn, with the way that game ended and the crap that was the NFC game, for the first time since I can remember the Super Bowl is a big meh. Even with bad matchups in the past, I still enjoyed watching the game. But this weekend has me in a bad spot feeling like I'm watching the beginning of the NBA's decline in the 00s.

I hope they figure out how to address the quality of the refs.
